Kayla Kirk Bruton, 31 passed away on Thursday May 4, 2017 following a long battle with addiction. She was a beautiful girl, funny and full of life, and a smile that would light up the room, but drugs destroyed the hope and promise of her future. Kayla grew up in Spring Lake Heights and was a 2003 graduate of Manasquan High School. She was a big fan of Shark week and was a dog lover.
Kayla was predeceased by her paternal grandparents George and Nicki Bruton, Jr. She is survived by her son Michael Joel, her parents Randy and Karen (nee Kirk) Bruton of Manasquan; a brother and sister-in-law Casey and Jeanie Bruton of Toms River; maternal grandparents Mona and John Kirk of Manasquan; aunt and uncles Judy and Louis Micioni and Chip Bruton; cousins Maria Micioni and Lori Megown and their son Cooper, Liza Micioni Lee and her husband Todd and their sons Alex and Mark, Michael and Christina Micioni and their son Carter. Kayla will be extremely missed by her dog Shea.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday May 11,2017 from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A funeral service will be held on 10 am on Friday May 12, 2017 at the funeral home.
