Gregory Higgins, 59 of Spring Lake Heights passed away with his family by his side on Saturday June 17, 2017, after a short illness at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Greg was born and raised in Elizabeth. Greg and his wife Eileen moved to Spring Lake Heights in 1995. Greg was a member of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh, Jersey Shore and organized the annual blood drive every year. He was a salesman for over 30 years and was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan.
Greg is survived by his wife of 24 years Eileen(nee McConway) and his daughter Sarah of Spring Lake Height; his three brothers Joe Higgins of Sea Girt, Pat(Sherry) Higgins of Union and Terry (Kim) Higgins of Sea Girt. Greg was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Theresa Higgins and a brother Jeffrey Higgins and a niece Courtney Higgins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday June 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on 10:30 am Friday June 23 at St. Denis Church, Manasquan.
