Trina Morris, 88 of Sea Girt passed away on Thursday June 14, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune with her family by her side. Trina was born in Little Falls, NJ and raised in Ocean Grove where she graduated from Neptune High School in 1948. Trina along with her husband moved to Sea Girt in 1955 and it was there they raised their family. After raising her family Trina had worked for the IBEW Local 400 for about six years as a secretary retiring in 1990. Trina enjoyed playing cards, trips to Atlantic City, watching car races at Wall Stadium, square dancing with the Monmouth Squares and Jersey Shore Promenaders. She will be missed by her two cats Molly and Abby.
Trina was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Wesley H. Morris in 2006; her four siblings Dow, John, Alfred and Hilda. She is survived by her children Linda and James Lynch of Spring Lake Heights, Susan and George Cerny of Stockton, and Frank W. Morris of Brick. Trina is also survived by a brother Peter Bylsma of Manchester, grandchildren Antonio and Alicia Trappanese and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday June 19, 2018 from 10 am to 1 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon and following the service the interment will be in Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan.
